Klarna: How It Works
Klarna is a payment method which allows you to buy now and pay later or pay for your order in installments. There are two options;
Who is Klarna?
Klarna is a payment service provider who take end-to-end responsibility for your payment. They support 60 million consumers worldwide in over 70,000 online stores such as Asos, Topshop, Miss Selfridge and are very safe to use.
How does it work?
When you select pay after delivery at the checkout, you can purchase with one click without adding any payment details. Once confirmed, you will receive an email from Klarna explaining how to pay for your goods at a later date and we'll send out your order as usual. If you decide you're not happy with your order you can simply return it to us and the money will never leave your account.
- Klarna is available to all customers over 18, with a UK bank account and a billing and delivery address registered in the UK.
- Once you've placed your order using Klarna, you'll receive an email from them within 2 days with payment instructions.
- Depending on your payment option, you will then have 30 days to complete the payment online, or split your payments over 3, 6, or 12 months. You can pay at your convenience, with no extra cost via credit or debit card.
- You'll receive a reminder two days before your payment is due, and you'll also receive email reminders.
- You're unable to buy All Shades Covered gift vouchers using Klarna and your order will need to be placed in GBP. However, if you have a gift voucher and you're spending more than its value, you can pay the remaining balance of your order using Klarna. Please note, if you pay for your order this way, there won't be a breakdown of payment methods used on your order confirmation email.

If you have purchased using Pay Later before it may not be offered for every order. Similarly, if you have been denied with Pay Later it does not mean you will be denied for all future orders.
I have been redirected to Klarna site, is that correct?
If you have chosen to Pay Later (Klarna) Klarna will send you an email with further details on how to pay. Your email will contain a link to Klarna where you can settle your payment with your credit or debit card. If you do not pay Klarna within the grace period, late fees may apply.
What are my payment options with Klarna?
You can pay immediately with debit or credit card (Visa/Mastercard) at the checkout or take advantage of our Pay Later payment option, where you can pay for the goods once you have received them via debit or credit card.

For the buy now pay later option, will a credit check be done against me?
Neither Klarna nor EGO run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. Klarna may run a quotation search which is an inquiry which only you, and no other companies, can see and does not affect credit scoring.
I want to cancel my order, and I paid using Klarna?
If you would like to cancel your order, contact us and we will issue a refund.

You should to wait 2-5 days before placing the order again via Klarna, especially if this is their first time ordering via Klarna. Too many unsuccessful attempts will further damage their profile. If your second order value is a higher value than the cancelled order, it will lessen their chance of getting accepted by Klarna again.

If you have paid for your order by card, the refund will be made back to the same card. If you have not paid the invoice yet, then the refund will reduce the invoice or cancel it completely.
